[Bug 43757] Re: Bad icons issue

2006-10-22 Thread Bruno Santos
I moved to Edgy and the Cancel icon on dialongs is a cross (old gnome icons?) with bad resolution(pixelized). The icon for delete in Evolution makes sense now (a paper shredder), but Cancel is incoherent with the dialogs. Should I reassign this bug on human-icon-theme and close it here? **

I noticed it on nautilus windows browsing directories on removable devices, and the change occurs when I remove it. The open terminal plugin also does the the same if we use the feature on the Desktop, but that is another package. :P -- unexpected behaviour: goes back to the home directory

I get this with lots of gifs (comics) around 50k, in a directory of ~1500 files and the issue goes away if the preview is off. I like the preview feature, but should it behave like this? -- Nautilus starts eating up all of the cpu https://launchpad.net/bugs/20639 -- desktop-bugs mailing list

2006-05-31 Thread Bruno Santos
My bad, I've only just noticed that the dialog's cancel is an undo arrow (so gaim is right)... Well, in evolution cancel is a white cross on a circle... And the delete is still a forbidden sign. Is this the final artwork? -- Bad close icon https://launchpad.net/bugs/46801 -- desktop-bugs

Icons in the filter configuration have issues too. The icons for top and bottom are wrong: the top icon is for bottom, the bottom icon is from another theme. ** Attachment added: Evolution Message Filters icons http://librarian.launchpad.net/2546007/Screenshot-Message%20Filters.png -- Bad

It seems cups isn't accepting configuration changes, and gnome-cups-manager ignores ~/.cups/lpoptions. If that file is coppied to /etc/cups the changes are seen and applied. It must be something related to running things with suid. If gnome-cups-manager is run with sudo, the changes get
