When I download release gradlew file is not there, so I can not build
Am I missing anything?

Yes. The gradlew file is excluded from the tarball. We have to generate the
gradlew file using "gradle wrapper" command. Please see the updated build
instructions

Just wonder why do we need to download gradle to use it to generate gradlew and
then gradlew downloads gradle again?

I had also tested the same scenario but I had "maxInstances: 1" in
myriad-config-default.yml for JHS configuration and it didn't start new JHS

Built from tar.gz
Deployed on a one node cluster
Tested NM/JHS flexup/down
Run M/R job successfully
Tested RM HA

deployed it on a 4 node MapR cluster.
Tried FGS/CGS NM flex up/down, and ran hadoop M/R jobs.
Tried myriad HA with RM restart/kill.
Tried framework shutdown, and start myriad

Any guidance on why we can't include the gradlew script? I took a look at
Apache Kafka and Apache Tapestry, their artifacts both include gradlew,
just not the jar.
Meanwhile I'll check the release ...
