I'm working on a panel that allows the user to upload a file to the server.
Then it will run an event on the uploaded file. However, there is a bug in
it and I'm stumped.
Would someone please take a look at it? I think it's 90% there.
The upload file may be tainted, but I don't think it is.

Do I have to modify anything in the squid.conf? Enable logging, etc. I'm

what permissions to set, etc. I have no problem executing a script that
runs /etc/rc.d/init.d/squid
At least, that's how I understand it would work ;)

Thanks everyone for your help with my problem. I got it. The sudo
recommendation from J. Lewis did the trick. I'm just tightening up security
now.
I have been writing an installation script to install the entire squidguard,
lists, updates, IP security stuff, etc.
I guess the next step would

Log in as root to your ESSG server.
mkdir /squidguard
cd /squidguard
wget -nv http://www.greencomputer.com/gc-guard-1.tar
tar -xf gc-guard-1.tar
./create-squidguard
That's it! The settings can be found under Security, Content Filtering.
Regarding trying to restart squid from an Ibay:
squid: ERROR: Could not send signal 15 to process 3527: (1) Operation not
permitted
rm: cannot unlink `/var/lock/subsys/squid': Permission denied
If anyone knows how to restart squid from an Ibay, please let me know...

I have been out of the office all weekend. I just got back this morning.
I'm going to execute my form using PHP. I don't know why I didn't just do
this earlier. I haven't had any time to send or install any scripts yet. I
want to wait until I have the URL/domain
I wrote my squidguard interface today... all in PHP! I can now update
domains, expressions and URL's for trusted and untrusted files. Add, remove
and list files are possible. It's a cheap little database based on the six
squidguard text files.
But, does anyone know how to execute a squid
will be sending the scripts to you shortly!
