Hi Danny,
If you really think that is what is happening with the electronics
industry now in China, you don't have a clue.

Hi to all
Is there anyone out there successfully using a MicroHam MicroKeyer to run
the WinDRM software? If so, would you mind sharing your settings and helping
me to get set up for this??
Particularly interested in the Digital Voice aspects of WinDRM...

-Yes, it works fine . I actually use the same preset in the device
router that I use for Logger32. I have port 5 for rig control and
port 7 for PTT. Since Windrm does not provide rig control beyond
PTT, the use of port 5 is not needed. I just have WinDRM set for
port 7 as PTT.

FYI.
A new Quick Setup document is now available. This is a simplified,
step by step 3 page document to help the new user get on the air with
WinDRM as quick as possible. Emphasis was given on the set up of
both single and dual sound cards to help avoid confusion that some
users may have

I'll give that a try when I get home tonight. It was working with only
one sound card when you I tried to hook up, but haven't been able to
get fire using two. I'll also check out the quick start up that

It is interesting that Peter, TY1PS, from Benin, Africa, wrote a program

Just for grins, back when the Ottawa 19.2 Kbps PI-2 card was popular, a couple
of guys here in San Antonio modified a couple of Motorola solid state
commercial LMR sets to send and receive the wider 19.2 KBps signal. They had a
great deal of success. I believe that they loaned one of

It has not been easy for me using the same interface for other sound
card modes.
With two cards, I used my best card (an Audigy 2) to receive,
and the AC-97 to transmit.
It is a bit tricky to separate everything the way it shall be set up,
but seemingly my setup worked.

I am testing the PAX 2 beacon on 3610 USB tonight from 0100 UTC to

From what I can tell, Vista does not offer much of an improvement. It
is shocking that a company as large as Microsoft, and that has spent
billions developing Vista, had to drop several of the key reasons for
this development. Particularly, the new file system that they had to
abandon and was

Andy,
I hear your beacon (I think). However I am not printing anything on the screen.
I know nothing about PAX2 so I am sure I don't have some settings right. As a
matter fact, I know very little about MultiPSK. Could you give me a few
pointers?
I also think I hear someone trying to answer to

Will have to contact the developer and ask about
plans for PAX 2 or other apps. I see that he is
working on APRS integration.
Is there a PAX 2 app for Linux yet?

Sure do not understand why a neo-commercial digital

digital modes) cannot find a more appropriate home on
non-Ham spectrum.
