OK then. My first 2 questions:

Hi Igor!
It's always great to have new people joining the team! Someone should
hopefully make you an ODFAuthors (the website where we do all the user
guides on) account soon, and there is likely some list somewhere just for
Russian translators - is anyone on here able to point Igor towards there?
I have uploaded my comments to the Feedback folder.

If you are trying to unsibscribe, don't forget to add the +help bit at the
end, or it will just get sent back to the list.

Is there an IRC channel on freenode for the Documentation team? The only
mention of IRC on the Get Involved/Documenters page at the website is to
do with the #documentfoundation channel, which is just for general TDF
stuff. I know QA have one, and I wondered if there was one for

Hi,
I know I'm new here, but I wouldn't mind helping update the Calc guide. If
you can give me some pointers, and be prepared to answer questions, I'll be
glad to help out!

I'll be willing to help, as I explained in a post on Getting Started 4.0
book and status of updating all user guides. I know the basics of
Spreadsheets, but will likely write some bits and leave bits I don't know
much about (like macros for instance) out.

Quick question (I hope it's not too off-topic): Why must we download the
help files separately if they are out of date and the online help is
better? The download page seems to imply that you must download and install
them, after you have installed the main file.
Slightly more on-topic:

I'll be happy to be active, maybe even contribute to a rewrite if needed.
Would probably not be until V4.1, as I notice that LODev 4.0 is nearly
finished.
