the handle server just isn't working, but it is running.
Any thoughts? I would appreciate any insight anyone has on this issue.
Thanks in advance for the help.

After I complete getting 1.7.1 into production, I will put this requirement on

Thanks.

However, it isn't working, and that collection is using the standard itemlist
columns.
Is this method supported for controlling column content per collection?
Thanks in advance for the help!

In short, I think you can set up an ldap.search_context to solve this problem
in your dspace.cfg file, but you won't be able to use the u...@domain.com
setting as the authenticator, or at least I wasn't able to get it to work.

Stuart,
Thanks for the help with this one. Changes to these settings are exactly what I
was needing. I don't know why I didn't see that setting when I originally
looked through dspace.cfg

Stuart,
Thanks for the excellent pointer. The two settings I had to change were to add
the port number and trailing slash to my ldap.provider_url and take my
ldap.search_context up a level, allowing DSpace search down into both
containers. So, now I've got:
ldap.provider_url =
org.dspace.authenticate.LDAPHierarchicalAuthentication @

Hi, Susan.
I would like to help, but I don't have any experience regenerating the sitbndl
or incrementing the parameter. On my recent upgrade, we kept the same
handle-server software and existing bundle and used it with DSpace 1.5.2. We
didn't change servers or the IP address that the server
Stuart,
Thanks again for the excellent help. The problem with my SWORD servicedocument
was a collection that didn't have a name attached to it. I added the name via
SQL and the servicedocument started being created without a problem.
Also, thanks for the pointers on how to get started,
