there is no UI tool to do so but you should be able to do it on db level
(usual warning of backup db etc.).
The item templates are items and connected to the collection via the
template_item_id in the collection table.
But I haven't tried it yet.

OK, here's the completely untested SQL. Do not think of running this in
production before testing it on a testing server and making complete DB
backup. Replace AAA with item_id of your template item and BBB with the

the moment, so making it work will either require ugly hacks or a lot
