Hi,
And thanks for the tip. I cheched the sword-metadata.xml and it indeed
had fields that DSpace registry was missing. I fixed this, but yet I
am getting Code: 401: unauthorized.
On SWORD client debug window it says:
INFO [org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector] Failure
A while backk I tried uploading a collection of HTML, CSS, JS and SWF
files in DSpace, which were all part of a flash presentation. After
the initial upload I could see all the files listed in item view
(which i thought was bad, since only the html-file needed to be opened
by the user). Few days
Hi Mikan,
seems as if you checked the html file as primary bitstream.
Hope that helps

Thanks for the info! It appears I did this on the first upload but
didnt on the second, which explains the difference.
Cheers,

If there are more than one document for this handle, then you can
identify which one it is by looking at column size_bytes (file size
below) in the bitstream table. Below is a sql query I use to list
information from the bitstream, bundle, item, and handle tables, when I

Hi Sean,
If you need a field in the database to control embargo, get your
DBA to add one. We have added several custom fields to our database and
it works fine. You just have to keep track of them and make the same
changes in future releases.

Hello,
We are running DSpace 1.5.1. When I try to submit an item, at the last step
(complete submission), I got the following error message. I also checked
dspace.log. It gave the error message org.dspace.core.I18nUtil @No language
specified for EPerson 3. Can anyone tell me what it means?
We had a similar problem, only it was with Oracle. The first connection of the
day, when we were still in set-up mode, would take two to three minutes to come
up!
Our solution was to set up a cron job to wget the home page every 10 minutes
or so. Since then, no problem.

When I submit an item in jspui or xmlui, would it be possible to have a
clickable url in the abstract (or description) field? I tried to include it
in a form of:
http://www.someurl.com
and
a href=http://www.someurl.com;http://www.someurl.com/a
but both times it just shows whatever
I'm receiving this after restoring a database. We are testing second
instances.
This happens ONLY when browsing by author, title, subject or date
WITHIN a COLLECTION or COMMUNITY.
The full browse works just fine.
Any suggestions?

I am trying to edit this file as well and cannot locate it anywhere. I
have looked in the entire dspace directory and it appears to not even
exist. I am running version 1 5.1. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I applied the xmlui statistics patch to our 1.5.1 installation, ran
mvn package and ant update, restarted tomcat and ran stat-initial. When
I browse to the statistics URL (http://ourhost/xmlui/statistics) I

I noticed I don't even have the [dspace-source]/jsp directory at all.
Any ideas as to why? I have the same version running (1.5.1) on two
machines and neither has this /jsp directory.
