Can anyone tell me the dates of the 2005 CQWW CW contest? I know it is the last
full weekend of the month, but don't have an old calendar, and couldn't find

Hi folks, I am getting inquiries about an operation from St. Paul Island using
the call KX7OS. I have seen one spot made on 40 CW. Anyone know if this is
legit? Find it hard to believe someone would go through all the red tape for
permission and not announce an operation beforehand. Of
:01 -0400
Since KX7OS does not appear in the FCC database (ULS), I would
suspect that is a pirate operation.

From the MARAC county hunting information page: The County Hunter Net which
you found on 14.336 or 7.188 operates during the daylight hours every day and
sometimes into the evening. Most of the time the pace is fast and furious with
mobiles making contacts at the rate of 8 to 10 per minute.
The point is not to get the call from the spots. But, for example, last Friday
I ran counties all day while traveling between NC and NY. I mostly worked from
the same group of 25-30 county hunters who were on that day. Many of them I
have been working since I started that aspect of the hobby
