Hi Mike,
Yes, that would be a nice enhancement! Same goes for Fldigi for the other
digital modes.

I know we don't have that update yet. How are other folks doing the mod?

One way to solve the Mode length problem is to use a 3 character mode like
TOR. Then when you edit the ADIF file you can do a mass replace of TOR with
FT8. I did a similar action for MSK144.
I hope the Ver 9 DX4WIN has some sort of editable file for modes, much like
that used by TQSL.
Steve,
I would really be happy to see FT8 mode added to dx4win. I wonder if it might
be in the works ??

I have not seen anyone mention it but hopefully any upgraded DX4 will
work with JT Alerter. Most all of the logging programs will work with
JT Alerter except for DX4win. 73 Mike K4PI

Hello Paul,
Yes, there are only three characters in FT8, so you need to change all of
those MODE:4 to MODE:3. You won't have to fuss with this when the new
version comes out :-)

Hi Paul,
Yes, "MODE:4" is incorrect. In the ADIF format, the number indicates the
number of characters in the mode name. So JT65 was 4 and FT8 should be 3,
as in "MODE:3>FT8".

I noticed the file entry for a JT65 QSO mode was "JT65" so I
tried "FT8" on FT8 QSOs.
