Jim, Thanks for the guidance. The IC-9700 rig file DID NOT WORK with the IC-9100. The IC-7100 "No auto-on" rig file DOES WORK with the IC-9100 when changing the radio address to 7C and the baud to 19200 (remove the 2 "Default check marks"). My radio Baud was set to 19200 and also tried AUTO
