May be a DX4win issue but it also doesn’t working in NN1M logger which leads me to believe it’s a computer the computer is the problem here and I don’t know what controls the F keys software on the computer Sounds like you are using a laptop where the function keys control multi-media options

That sounds like a known problem. It's been reported by a few users but last I heard Paul had been unable to reproduce it. Tried it on 5 machines here, 3 operating systems and various COM ports... MB, ISA, USB and could not duplicate the problem here. Perhaps someone has an update. 8.02 does
