Problem solved -done by trial and error
I had to touch the function key escape key (lock)at the same time!!!
toggle's the F keys macro back to the function key you can toggle
back-and-forth

DX4win CW window but the F-keys are non

I did finally manage to get the CW keyboard working.all I needed to do was
use the same comm port as that used by Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) for PTT. That
won't be a problem, since HRD and DX4WIN's CW keyboard

Not to answer my own question, but my uninstalling and reinstalling DX4WIN
8.04, I am now able to see the CW keyboard. My thanks to all who replied
suggesting it was likely hidden somewhere.
Now if I could only get it to work: I'm using the same comm port as controls
the radio, have tried
in a future update. I don't use this inerface anymore but i
believe many of us stii use something like this.

OK now I have the comports working and checked using other prog it has
revelled anther prob.

The CW keyboard, well it latches on the TX and the only way out is to come
out of DX4WIN
It sends no CW just puts the TX on permanently

That sounds like a known problem. It's been reported by a few users but
last I heard Paul had been unable to reproduce it. Tried it on 5
machines here, 3 operating systems and various COM ports... MB, ISA, USB
and could not duplicate the problem here. Perhaps someone has an update.
