Jim,
did you ever get a response to this? I just picked up working the
satellites again and I would like to be able to get LOTW credits for
it. Unfortunately, the ARRL expects more than BAND=SAT to have a good
match on the QSO. Do you know if there is a chance that version 8
might fix
I lived in Atlanta and had Dxbase as my logging program when it was dos

Thanks Jim.

Here's the DX4WIN version 8 upgrade pricing schedule:
UPGRADES:
From Version 5 or earlier$50.00
From Version 6 $45.00
From Version 7 $30.00
Remember, this is the first major (paid) upgrade since 7.01 in May 2005.

Everyone will need a new key for version 8 (the key format is
different). You will still be able to download the demo, but it can't
save/print QSOs (just like other major version upgrades), until you
you get a new key.

instructions necessary other than those that have been on your pages for yonks?
I would not vwant to lose and DXCCs or paticularly LoTW credits. Grid squares
on 6m etc.

In the simplest case, simply copy your call.DXL file from your old
DX4WIN SAVE directory to the new one. Open it up in the new
version, and voila, it will all be there, with all your QSO data and
award status in-tact. When you save the log with the new version, it
will be in a slightly

For those of you who DO have such a radio, what is the format:

Where Rx is the frequency you are RECEIVING on and Tx is the frequency

Thanks
The crowd is in agreement. The answer is:
Rx / Tx KHz
Thanks everyone!

I wrote a utility to help frequency migration from older versions of
