[Dx4win] DX4WIN + ic 7800 + OM2500A

Hi folks I´m a subscriber of DX4WIIN for decades and I´m very happy with the SW performance. I bought recently a pair of OM2500A for one of my contest station ZW5B I´m facing some difficulties as follows: 1) DX4WIN works perfectly with my IC7800 and also with K3 with other manual and ACOM 2000

[Dx4win] connection from radio to computer?

Hi All I am replacing my desktop with a win 7 laptop. The radio is a Kenwood TS 950sdx. The interface is a Kenwood IF-232C to the old serial port on the desktop running XP. Is there a recommended dongle to connect the serial to USB port on laptop or is this not the way to go? I am running

Folks have had the most success with an FTDI chipset USB-to-RS232 converters as opposed to the Prolific chipset converters. I have had good luck with Valley Enterprises and they come with a 10-foot cable. http://www.amazon.com/Valley-Enterprises-Serial-Adapter-Chipset/dp/B003N9TYW

Hello Oms Sorry but I have not understand well your configuration and the problem you have. Normally CIVl is connected between radio and computer. I believe it works ok this way. When you use the amplifier, how it is connected? And the problem is that you are loosing cat control in dx4win or
