Re: [Dx4win] Cluster spots

2021-06-23 Thread David Kozinn, K2DBK
One thing to do is to check the sort order for the spots in the DX Spots
window: Right-click, then sort and arrival is likely what you want. If you have
it set by time that might be causing the issue.

Subject: [Dx4win] Cluster spots

I use CC User to link to a cluster and then the spots are fed into DX4Win.
The issue seems to be caused by the cluster spots not having a date (only time)
or I am not picking up the date properly.

In the morning say at 09:00 when the bands are quiet and not many spots, my DX
spots window in DX4Win starts with the spots from 00:00 to (say)
09:00 but then shows the spots from 09:00 to 23:59 **for the previous day**.
It is not a big job to delete the yesterdays spots, however, after a few hours
(say at 11:00) I suddenly find the spots for 11:00 to
23:59 for the previous day have been re-populated.

When the bands are busy the problem goes away because there are enough of
today's spots to fill the window.

I am assuming the cluster does not **push** the spots out again, so how/why is
either CC User or DX4Win asking for the last 100 spots again?

Can anyone shed any light on this or should I approach the CC User forum

Dave G3UEG

[Dx4win] Cluster Spots

2013-10-27 Thread Luis Teixeira
Perhaps I've wrongly configurated my preferences..
I receive DX spots marked (red or green) in lower part of bands (speccially
10,15,20 and 40 m) as CW spots when they are in reality SSB ones.
How can I configurate DX4Win Version 8.05 to correct this and receive those
spots marked correctly ?
Thanks

Re: [Dx4win] Cluster Spots

2013-10-27 Thread Ian Fugler

Go to PreferencesQSO and change the frequencies in the CW cut-off.

But this weekend is not typical. You will find SSB stations operating in
the CW section of the band, especially on 40m. So, your CW cut-off for 40m
may be set as 7040. But there will be SSB operation below that this
weekend.

[Dx4win] Cluster spots coming in?

Hi Anyone have an answer for doing a:
SH/DX/10 VU4 last 10 spots show in rtty window, okay, but ONLY 4 of the

 the same amount of spots?

If you sort by time, only the most recent spot for the given band and mode are
saved. Newer spots on the same band and mode replace older spots. If you sort
by arrival, then you will get all the spots (I think).

I am using two monitors, however something happened when i reloaded dx4win.

I used to have the application showing mostly on the second monitor. When I
brought up dx4win, i do believe that it would return to the previous setup
, that is using the second monitor.

The second monitor works fine. Other applications open on the second
monitor, but the dx4win always comes up on the primary monitor, even if
properly closed down while on the second monitor.

What and where do i need to go to restore the double monitor setup ??

tnx
