I've used the CW decoder ring function on my K3 a few times, but that's not
why I bought the rig. Good code, with a likewise good S/N ratio, yields good
machine copy. So does my brain to some extent. The spoilers are those ops

Running the 160 meter contest. Lost connection with the rig from N1MM logger.

Looks like an issue with the USB adapter. Hooked a straight RS232 serial cable
(redundant) from COM1 to the Rig. Works now.

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't
have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find
any
this is more radio than I care to deal with.
That's why I sold my Drake C Line in 1978, the performance
gain and cost didn't seem worth all the adjusting I
needed to do each QSY. So I bought a TS520 and a KW.
I'd like to think that after the K3 has been configured
it would be as easy to use as
