I had a similar problem. I returned from St. Croix on Wednesday where I had antenna issues and had to use the ATU most all of the time. When I set up the K3 here in Ct. I noticed high SWR on 15 meters, where normally, with my steppir, there is no SWR. Shut off the ATU and everything was o.k. I

Reviving this thread, because I don't think we ever got a comment from the mother ship. The ability to feed monitor audio to LIN OUT without having it in headphones or speaker is very useful for contesters. Most SO2R ops prefer never to hear their own CW, but recordings that *don't* have it

OK, I guess the ham application for an orthogonal antenna would be to use two loops at 90 degrees to each other.  With the electronic trickery I mentioned below you would have yourself a dandy direction finding antenna.  Great for transmitter hunts and tracking down jammers and other bad guys.

Tommy, Not a direct answer to your question, but if you download K3EZ, it becomes very easy to tweak both RX and TX EQ settings. You can then test in real time using the monitor or DVR. I think it's better doing it this way as you can tailor settings to your voice rather than basing it off

I'm currently trying to run down a similar (?) audio problem. I upgraded software (4.14) and then set up for SS CW. It seemed that I had reduced audio on the right channel. After the contest I started setting up for SS SSB and I'm not TX in SSB, unless I whistle and then I get a bit of TX.
