Chuck and all, Sorry if I confused you.  It is the firmware level, not the upgrades or the board level. Firmware 2.01 and above must do CAL PLL on 40 meters.  That calibrates it for all bands. The early manuals tell you to do CAL PLL on each band, but if the firmware has been updated, the

Chuck, If you are referring to the X1/X2 situation rather then the CAL PLL band, even the rev B boards have silkscreen and holes for X2, but X2 is left open.  The BFOMDKT and the Thermistor mod replace X1 and remove X2. The basic A to B mods do not, but those mod kits are a part of the
