I have the AIM UHF and love it. I knew nothing about antennas when I bought it, but it enabled me to learn a lot. It tells you just about everything going on from the connector in the shack to the ends of the wire. It can be a bit overwhelming to see all that data that means absolutely

I got the AIM4170. To me, it was easier to give up smoking than put the AIM analyzer down. Fun to use with some modeling software also (I use EZ-NEC, others will work also). It was a one-two punch of hardware and software at the same time that was addictive. Jim WA9ZBV
