This is a subject I have not seen before on the net.
I have noticed that the clock on my K3 loses a few seconds every day. Is this
normal and has anyone else noticed this?

I calibrate my K3 clock to the computer every couple of weeks and it is never
more than 15 seconds off or so. This has been addressed before on the list
serve. Hope this helps.

I have not measured the accuracy of the clock but I expect it to lose time.
And, I never refer to it, never use it. I have a big wall clock that above the
K3 that tells me the time (actually, it does not tell me the time, I have to
look at it) but it loses a good minute or two per week. I

I only vaguely remember how to find the clock display on my K3, just
did, and it is about 1 year and a week off. I don't remember when I
last set it. Likewise with the clock in the K2. I never look at them.

The clock on my K3 loose time quite fast. at least a few seconds a day.

The only time I ever use it is when I run down to the shack and work a rare DX station
before my logging computer has a chance to boot!

I use it to make sure I've got the right UTC -- local time
offset. My iPhone also knows UTC. Oh, and RUMlog also knows UTC.
I probably don't use it more than two or three times a year.
I set it to my computer's time every time I run the K3 utility,
which is at least every time I hear on this
Jon, I searched the Nabble site and found a long thread from June 24, 2010

I use it constantly to make sure I figure the utc hour correctly for paper log
entries.
It loses time. I just set it forward and put it a couple minutes ahead. I think
I adjust it every few months, maybe even six months. Not a issue for me.
I had to think a minute how to change the minutes so
