While running MCU 2.16 (DSP 184) the Noise Reduction (NR) signal audio level
was a very close balance between NR OFF and NR ON. However after downloading
MCU 2.19 (DSP 187) I find the NR signal volume level significantly reduced when

gain at 12 o'clock for good level and with Beta 2.16 was good at 9 o'clock
so, I went back to V 2.16 since most of the other changes were for the sub

Send All New firmware is disabled (greyed out) if there is no new firmware
to install; if the version installed in the K3 is the same or later than the
version available in the Firmware Folder. Theres a troubleshooting Help
topic which describes the possible reasons that the Send New Firmware

detection diodes in the SWR circuit on the RF board failed (D36 and D37).

I get very optimistic readings on my S meter above S9. I calibrated the S
meter on 7MHz as per instructions and everything seemed ok with SMTR OF =26.
According to my calculation 50uV is -73dBm. I increased the input and got the
following readings:-
-53dBm (should be S9+20) reads 9+30 on 6m
This is typical for K3s without the Hardware AGC modification. Mine is like
that and I don't appreciate it very much.
