I know this is a little late for the contest, but if you're using the RTTY

that to decode 60 WPM, which is the standard.

This thread seems to have gone off-track. I read the posting on Nabble. I
don't receive individual (or digest) emails. Simply browsing through the
recent postings on Nabble is a real PITA due to all the recent spam
postings. These posts have NOT been forwarded to those reading via email.

Running in FixTrack mode, while tuning, I noticed a spike moving in the
opposite direction and about twice as fast as the rest of the crowd. I
didn't hear anything when I tuned to its frequency. What is it?

I'm posting this for a friend who is not a lilst subscriber.
He believes that the Elecraft remote commands are the same as Kenwood's. Is
this correct?
If so, could the K3/0 be used to control a TS480 or 590?
I'll fwd the responses.
Tnx,

I recall reading that a K3/100 can remotely control another K3, but can't
find the info now. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How do I put the K3 in AI2 or AI3 mode?
I only see NORM and 1 as choices in the config menu for AUTOINF. I am
running the latest firmware (MCU 4.67), if that matters.

callsign was pre-recorded and stored in the K3 DVR. When listening
thru the MON, live audio sounds much better than the DVR playback of my
callsign. Does recorded audio in the DVR go through the TX EQ filters
either when recorded or during playback? How about compression?
Tnx,
Barry W2UP
Yes.
