Hi all
Switched on my KX3 this morning, the LEDs. lit up and stayed on but nothing
else. Had to removed the batteries to clear the LEDs. Tried the external PSU
with and without the batteries installed with same result. Anyone any ideas?

Buddy/Mike, further to my earlier email the current on receive is
actually 1.05A as measured on a digital multimeter and not 5A as
indicated on the PSU analogue meter.
Of course this doesn't solve the immediate problem.

Hi all, need help!
Using ver 2.78 ser 2014. Find SPLIT is not working CW or SSB! Was working
previously with other versions. Powered up again and reloaded firmware DSP to
no avail.
SPLT SV YES or no - makes no difference. Checked mode same VFO A and VFO B.
Need this for K5D asap!!

are set to the QRP version (e.g.: Mode = CW, ATU = Auto, StL = 030,
StP = 0.60, etc.) and still nothin', ziltch, nada. No sidetone on key down and
no Spot sound.

I've built up all 3 XVs, and find the 432 the hottest of the bunch.
What are you doing to manage the heat ? My output power drops and
the case hits over 60C / 140F if I run for a minute at about
10W. (Attenuator not a factor as driving at low level).

The current consumption is less than 4A at about 13.6V.
I should mention am running it continuous (1min on/off) (not SSB) as
I do a lot of digital work.

the stereo effect audio, it takes some getting
used to. There are one or two minor niggles but hey nothing is perfect
and at the moment the KX3 is the closest to perfection of any rig I

Manual, it looks like K5 normally open contact provides 12T that
connects to both K6 and K7 coils. The PN preamp + MAR3 are
