Re: [Emc-developers] [Emc-users] April 2023 LinuxCNC meeting at Tormach headquarters
Jon, I'm not a developer, just a user. I'm located about 2 1/2 Hrs. north of Tormach -- Madison, WI. Close enough it would be good to come and give an in person thank you for the help you all gave in my retrofit projects. If you remember I have your Pico system on my Standard Modern Lathe. Andy Pugh you did the pressbrake control on my Accurpress pressbrake. I also have a plasma and tubing bender with Linuxcnc control. Will Tormach have some of there machines on display? Is it open for users? - Earl * **Earl Weaver Loyal, WI 54446 Email: weaverst...@frontier.com ** On 3/16/2023 8:04 PM, Jon Elson wrote: Would anyone who plans to attend please let me know, so I can get a total of attendees and inform Tormach how big the horde is going to be? Hello, > Von: "Jon Elson" > > Would anyone who plans to attend please let me know, so I > can get a total of attendees and inform Tormach how big the > horde is going to be? I just checked the travel time and am a bit surprised about this being minimum 15 hours one-way, more like a median 21 h. Costs are not too bad, though. Now, if we are all going then it may be a good investment, but I consider it most important that the right people are attending, so we can have a talk about all the elder patches and how to get them integrated with the current main development branch. And since we only have two days and since that discussion is likely beyond me, it may be preferable if I stay where I am?!?
