The reason for Marius' original post is that he is trying to use LinuxCNC with SheetCam's 4 axis pipe cutting module. When cutting around the corner on square/rectangular section tubes all 4 axes are moving. Due to the shape of the trajectory it has to be done as a series of short G1 XYZA

One more thing about using trueSpace for STL, only work in metric dimensions. It doesn't matter if you select millimeters, centimeters, or meters. To STL they're all millimeters. The different units in the software just work for your own convenience for scale so you don't have to zom in. If

One more addendum to this and then I'll leave it alone. I played around with a few more Z axis accel and spindle speed values. It looks like it only starts decelerating the spindle to 0 after the Z distance has finished. Then Z decelerates as does the spindle. Since the Z position after it's
