Ok.. thank you all for your help. I now have ProFTPD installed. Though, I still don't know what to do to get it working. I typed service proftpd start and it started ok. The config is the original base set up for anonymous login. I don't want that. I just want to allow certain individuals,

I finally got my 9.1 Mandrake working wonderfully as a server. All my virtual web pages work wonderfully.. and now I am ready to open an FTP connection so I can finish uploading a ton of files from a different computer. Only problem is, I don't know how to get FTP to work in this version. I've
