I used to agree with the disgust towards keeping animals encaged like that too.
But after talking to people who know more about these zoos/aquariums, there is
a big upside. These animals no longer have to fight for survival anymore, and
they're fed a very ample dietbasically fat and happy

Don't get me wrong, I still agree it is somewhat inhumane for animals being
encaged, but it's only certain animals that are truly in a miserable place.
For example, Busch Gardens in Florida puts animals in an extremely large open
area just like their own habitat, and people have to watch them
