Sharyl,
PETA is terrible. I donated to them for years before I found
out what they do to feral cats. I've horror stories about how
they are out to exterminate all the feral cats they can. When
I heard about the things they do to cats I e-mailed them and
they admitted it. They said the cats
I give my cats their basic PCRC shots and rabies shots every three
years but I just started giving my FelV negative cats the FelV
shots. I'd like an opinion from all of you as to whether a booster
is necessary once a year for the FelV shot. I have no FelV cats
at home that I know of. All 14

Janine,
I'm glad you brought this up. This is the first thing that came
to my mind, because I've heard PETA kills all the ferals they can.

My boys are negative but I stretched their shots out and were very
selective about which ones they got. My vets approved this given that
they were indoor kittens after they adopted me. Prior to that they

I HAVE READ ALL THE POSTS ON PETA. I THINK WE ALL SHOULD GIVE THEM A PIECE OF
OUR MINDS. PROBABLY WON;T MAKE THEM CHANGE THEIR MINDS, BUT MAYBE IT WILL MAKE
THEM THINK TWICE. HOW DARE THEY NOT LET THESE BABIES HAVE A CHANCE AT LIFE!
RIGHT NOW, I AM WRITING AROUND EARS AND NOSES SINCE HARLEY
maybe we should start our own education program about PETA and let everyone
know just how caring they are.

Sharyl,
I am so, so sorry to hear this happened to your kitties; it's incredibly
angering that PETA not only undermined your plans to give them a happy,
healthy existence, but also absconded with your money. Like others on this
list, I'm pretty sure they tested before performing the surgery, and
I wish I had the money to run a public service commercial after everyone of
their's telling folks PETA kills cats and dogs.

Hi Natasha,
Are all your other cats up to date on feline leukemia vaccinations? You should
NOT get FIV vaccination for your cats. It isn't that effective and they will
then test positive for FIV, even if they don't have it.
I am really hoping Stump only has FIV because that is a lot easier
This is a letter I wrote to PETA. The e-mail address is about
a year old so I hope it's still good.
Jeff,
I was a member of PETA for many, many years, but I stopped
donating money to your organization when I found out how PETA
treats feral and stray cats. I have cared for a colony of feral
cats
Thanks for the support Lorrie

Aren't they vehemently opposed to any pet ownership at all? But I simply
don't get why they would consider this treatment ethical -- nor how they
can justify killing animals by saying they're saving them from future
suffering that might never happen -- and in Sharyl's case, would NOT have
