Didn't someone say they had good luck using LCTI (I think that's what it was)
I had great luck with my stomatitis kitty for awhile just using the L-Lysine
gel. No inflammation for several months.
There is also a Yahoo group just for Stomatitis. They may be better help to you.

Mary Lou, it's been a few days since you posted, but here's what I do for my
negative with stomatitus. She is an older cat (Allie) who had it when I
acquired her. The few times I've taken her to the vet, she was given an oral
antibiotic (because I can't pill her at all) to help with the bacteria

Have you tried colostrum? I'm a big believer in it...powder, mixes

She sounds like a lovely, loving girl. I'm sure she's in a lot less pain
from the stomatitis now, and hopefully her mouth will feel better very
shortly. Best of luck to both of you.

Does vet think she might need antibiotics? I'd keep giving her soft of
liquefied food--anything that she'll eat. Stuff she can lick up and not
have to chew.

An absolute MUST: CoQ10 - get the powdered version that is Vegetarian at
GNC, or I've been told Whole Foods also carries the capsules in powder form.
Open capsule, mix 1/2 of 100mg into food daily! Vitamin C would also help,
and Echinacea drops would be great - in fact, it should be given to all
I was just reading about bovine lactoferrin for the same reason--seems worth
a try to me.
I've also seen flagyl/metronidazole mentioned (used in conjunction with
antibiotics, I think)perhaps you could ask your vet about this?
Trental is another thing I read about helping a difficult case.
I don't think I would wait 10 days to get her seen. Two weeks is
enough for me to go nuts.
