and Dr. Ronald Schultz called the Rabies Challenge (Google it). It is
a seven year project

Was it an anaphylactic shock reaction? I lost a 5 month old little feral
girl, she died right after having her rabies shot--she was not tested though

She must have been fairly far advanced with FelV, as she was always
much more quiet than the other
We decided to by pass the vaccines for our FeLV cat. We figure his body has
been through enough, so we did not want to subject him to the exposure. Our
Vet agreed with that decision.

Well this is VERY interesting to me. My FeLV+ cats were always vaccinated
for FeLV, too (before AND after the vet knew they were positive). Stripes
lived to 16 years and Squeaky lived to age 22 years.

At the clinic where I work we only usually give positive cats the distemper
portion. The FELV portion is of no value good or bad to a positive cat. In fact
it is yet another vaccine component the cats body must deal with.
