Hey Gloria,
My husband and I are going to buy some land close to
Malvern in the next couple of months. My mother owns
it. My grandfather owned it before that; we have
family there. Are you close to Malvern? We just love
Arkansas. We've been there three times in the last
year: Petit Jean,
I'm so sorry for your loss:(
I am so sorry you have lost your beloved Clack, and so
suddenly too! Bless you for taking such good care of
him all these years and for loving him. He loves you
for it.

I'm so sorry for your loss - such a tough thing to lose two in one month! How wonderful that despite his feral nature he knew he could come to you for comfort.
I do have to say that I love their names, Click and Clack - we're big fans of Car Talk around here and I work around the corner from
Hey Maggie,
No suggestions on making going into heat easier. I
would spay. Make sure to tell the vet to use ISO gas,
and give her IV fluids before, during, and after
surgery. There is always a risk with surgery, but she
will probably be fine. Going into heat is stressful
on kitties.

I remember the incidents Hideyo mentioned happening,
and I think in at least a couple of cases the vet did

continually going into heat may be more stressful in
the long run because it's a continual lifelong thing.
Just my opinion. Hideyo is

Thank you for the advice. My vet automatically gives fluids and uses laser surgery, which I think would help keep it less stressful for her. I'm going to talk to the vet next week about it.

My
heart goes out to you Tim, and to Click, for your loss of your beloved Clack.
