I have several FelV cats, and they have lived long healthy lives.
I do not think an asymtomatic FelV cat should be automatically
euthanized. There are sanctuaries that take FelV cats, or they
should be isolated from other cats, but not killed.

Some vets say to euthanize FelV cats right away, but most vets now realize
many positive cats revert to negative in time. My 4 positive kittens look
so healthy, and they're playful and adorable. I will give them the happiest
life I can and hope they revert to negative when I retest.

Please do NOT involve animal control. Shelters everywhere are FULL and

They are 5 months old and should have their first vaccinations,
but I've had immune compromised kittens die from them, so I worry.
They do not go outside but are confined to three large rooms in

Almost all of you have suggested I not get the FVRCP vaccinations.
so I won't. These kittens are indoors only and have no contact with
AC. My rescues usually come from local people who dump them at my
rescue shelter.

A raw diet would be good, but with 26 cats I just can't do it.
Too expensive and too much work for my ancient self!
The kittens are better now with Albon and Kaolin.
