there probably isn't. The 10.2 tree is dead; if you want updates, you

DISPLAY=:0 before doing kdeinit for the can't open display command
(bash command) the faq also provides the command for tcsh

As you've discovered, ImageMagick has trouble building shared libraries
on Darwin/OS X. That's exactly why the package maintainer did *not*
choose to include the --enable-shared flag in the .info file.

I've got Gimp 1.2.4-11 installed (binary through fink 0.6.2), but I
have two questions:
First, bash won't even recognize gimp as a command in the Apple's X11
terminal. The panther terminal (also bash, correct?) recognizes the
command, but...
