For some reason, a large number of the .list files in my Fink
installation got corrupted, resulting in the famous files list file
for package `package name' is missing final newline error.
After fixing a number of these, only to find another one, I decided to
write a few scripts to simplify
I'd like to change from using the version of fink that I checked out of
CVS a couple of days ago to 0.27.7. I thought this would just be a case
of downloading 0.27.7 and running inject.pl. This appears to have worked
but /sw/fink/VERSION still says 0.7.0.cvs.
If I replace this with the VERSION

I have installed gcc42 using fink on Mac OS 10.5. Since g77 is no
