I did some more investigation, and it seems that RX2 shows a light form of those humps, but they appear to change frequency when I select N/C or ANT1 or ANT2. Even with the first receiver set to N/C they are there. And when I choose RX1TAP the noise level of rx 2 rises from -130db to -121. I

Greetings everyone, I'm planning on getting a flexradio 3000 in the next few moths and was wondering if anyone on this list had used one with a Gateway P-7815u FX Edition laptop? It is a good quality gaming computer with good specs and has a IEEE 1394b port for fire wire. I had read somewhere, I

Tom, It is hard to be specific, as one poorly engineered subsystem in a laptop can be the culprit. And there are a lot of subsystems in play. Most laptops are not engineered for real-time I/O performance which is required for running a program like PowerSDR. They are primarily engineered to

I got the word that Flex is ready to install my VHF/UHF module, so I packed the 5K in its original carton and took it to a shipping store that handles both UPS and FedEx. I had already priced the shipping at the respective Web sites, from which it appeared that FedEx would be cheaper but just

I hate to take exception to the Flex team, especially because they ship a whole lot more stuff than I do, but my experience has been just the opposite. I have consistently found that FedEx is more cooperative, more responsive to issues, inflicts less damage on the packages, and responds to claims

I wonder if commercial shippers like Flex get prior approval and special insurance permissions for their standard shipping methods/cartons. I had to return my 5k for repair recently. Knowing what FEDEX considered adequate protection, I packed my original carton, with the 5k nestled inside,

Hi Alan This is just my opinion and Flex can answer for their side, but Flex was asked for some guidance on what PCs would run PowerSDR comfortably and they chose this test and measure. They could have chosen several benchmark tests but Passmark is one of the best known (in addition to SISoft).
