at 90 watts.

Hi,
What's the story on the FireBox firmware upgrade, described in KB
Article Q10321? I tried to download the FirmWare Upgrade zip file,
but it's not there. Instead there is a FireBox driver 1.21.
Perviously, I could not run the FireBox at 96Ks/s. After I installed
an additional RAM of 1GB
is why I'm so surprised of the cyclical increase
to 60% that I see on my laptop.

Thanks to all who offered suggestions on adjusting Transmit
Rejection. I now understand what it is all about. I pressed a
TS-940 into service as it has a real, high quality analog S meter,
put the SDR into a dummy load, adjusted the power level to 30 watts
with the tone enabled and adjusted

Jeff,
I'm surprised the 2.8 GHz uses so much CPU time. Have you optimized
XP per the guide? I am running a 1.8 GHz Sony VAIO Lap Top with XP

Ned,
Assuming you have VAC setup and working with SDR-1000, start HRD, go
to the PSK31 screen and select SOUND CARD. You should see Virtual
Audio Cable 1 and Virtual Audio Cable 2. Select the opposite of what
you have setup in SDR-1000. In other words, if Virtual Cable 1 is
setup as Input
Hi,
I like the new waterfall display. Can someone tell me what the
colors are? I think I can see back (what I set for the lowest level)
blue, light blue, white, green, yellow, orange purple and
red. That's great color selection. At what level do the different
colors turn on? I now can
Dave,
Tnx for your info. I am using the waterfall on 40 meters on the
digital modes. It is quick to display a new signal and give an
indication of its strength. I tried -135 dBm and black for the
baseline and -80 dBm for the max, but it varies a bit as the noise on
the band varies.

GM,
I am using SVN 854, and the CW monitor tone is high. When I clicked
on a station, his received signal comes to my transmit line on the
panadapter screen. My CW pitch pitch is set at 600Hz. My
transmitter tone in my monitor is not the same as the received tone;
I estimate it to be
Phil,
I noticed with the last SVN I installed, 838, I lost the connection
between the SDR and its keyer. I have a electronic keyer plugged
into the SDR hardware box. In theory when you key the electronic
keyer it keys the SDR. In the last SVN it stopped working twice, but
it restored when
Hi,
I have the SDR and MixW both working fine in semi-auto break-in. The
only annoying thing is that when I want to transmit, I need to
manually push the PTT in MixW or else send it the TX macro. That
puts the MixW in TX, but the SDR and mixw screen still display
signals. MixW however,
Doug,
You can control the VFO using MixW while SDR does not have
focus. MixW is not primarily a logging program like N1MM, and leaves
something to be desired in contests. I will play around with N1MM
and see what I can do with it.
How did you solve the CW keying problem in N1MM?
