Correct. Roofing filters and DSP filters are two different things. The
K3 has DSP filters with variable shift/width, as do nearly all modern
radios, including Flex, Yaesu,

You're right, Jim, I was confused. Actually I had a FT1000MP for many
years and loved it. The DSP was pretty good, although not like the
ones we enjoy today. It had

I got rid of it and got a Kenwood TS-850, then a TS-950, and finally a
