I hate to take exception to the Flex team, especially because they ship a
whole lot more stuff than I do, but my experience has been just the
opposite.
I have consistently found that FedEx is more cooperative, more responsive to
issues, inflicts less damage on the packages, and responds to claims
I wonder if commercial shippers like Flex get prior approval and
special insurance permissions for their standard shipping methods/cartons.
I had to return my 5k for repair recently. Knowing what FEDEX
considered adequate protection, I packed my original carton, with the
5k nestled inside,

Yep Check what you paid for the shipping and insurance compared with the
price for shipping that Flex does. I guess that if Flex looses they just
send out another radio and works out the problem with the shipper Make
the customer happy and satisfied.
