Not sure I can even describe this issue properly but I've got my Flex 1500
running fine with Writelog controlling the SDR and VAC running the CW reader.
But when I fire up Writelog's CW keyer it keys the SDR but doesn't create a dot
or dash. Similarly I had problems getting MMTTY to send

Sounds like a sound card issue expect the VAC seems

George, how far apart were the images? One simple explanation is that your
signal could be modulated by 60 hz hum. This is observed frequently on WSPR,
where the receiving station can detect signals that are too weak to be
audible. Try it again with somebody near, who hears you S9, and see how far

I was operating CW this evening using an external keyer - WKUSB -
without any problems. I then decided to try the CWX mode. I made Keys
Active and started typing some info and the radio started chattering -
probably the relay with no real power output. I went back to the
external keyer and
