setup for monitoring for 6M AM activity while retaining the full use of the
5K and RX2.
Haven't tried it yet, but I could probably also feed the IF out of the
Interceptor into the Flex. Old, meets new, fun, fun!

on 50.400 MHz station KR7O, Robert near Fresno, California answered.
Both of us were running barefoot with about 26-30 watts carrier out. With
rather severe QSB we managed to complete a nice 5 minute multi hop QSO to
check off another first in my logbook. Needless to say his rig sounded
great

Also make sure you are not engaging the RX loop on the general coverage
bands. That can break the RX signal path too.
Especially if you have a 6m preamp in line.

Every time I change bands on RX2 it defaults to XX.010 CW for that
band. Am I doing something wrong, or does RX2 not remember the last
frequency it was on for each band?
This happens in 1.18.0 also.

the audio passband appeared flat, I sensed that there might be some
potential for degradation, but I don't have enough experience with the WSJT
and PWRSDR combo.
Currently I am using WSJT on an external laptop, taking audio out of the
headphone jack.

The PA section should be built to handle 50% + duty cycle and 1-2 minute
key down periods (at least), indefinitely at full rated output. No point
having a 50w PA that you have to back down to 25w or less to run WSJT or
other extended TX period digital modes.
