Not? Have you ever seen one in real?
(Did you ever wonder why that is?)

I must say the new GUI is comming along nicely.
It realy makes my hands itch to get to work on it ...

This seems like it would be handy if we can find a place for it in the
new menu system.
I think this one belongs properly in src/Main/fg_commands.cxx. I've
added it to my TODO queue.
Thanks,
David

Thanks. As soon as you're well-enough recovered, make especial note
of the Debug/Reload GUI entry -- it makes it very easy to tinker with
a dialog

Yes I agree it would need to be done from scratch. I'm considering
giving it a go. Another aspect of LOD rendering is you can't use OpenGL
lighting since geometry is always changing, so lightmaps must be used
for lighting. Vertex morphing is required so the terrain looks not
changing.

What about Kangaroos with Stinger launchers? (RooPADs!)

My Linux and OS-X builds (cvs updated today) are both failing in
FDM/JSBSim/FGSwitch.cpp, because FGCondition.h is not found ... a
missing cvs add?

me too (on Linux).
I'm going to guess it's a newly added JSBSim file that didn't get
added to the FlightGear repository.
Could be the files were not added. Here they are. Take a look at the
Makefile.am in both the JSBSim directory and the filtersjb/ subdirectory.
Those files should reflect changes.

Ok, I can grab those from the JSBSim cvs and commit them to the
flightgear repository. In fact

I just updated my RedHat to 8.0 from 7.3 and tried to recompile
a somewhat modified version of the JSBSim, and I am getting a mystery
message:
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/Rex/J2/FlightGear-0.7.10/src/Cockpit'
Making all in built_in
make[3]: Entering directory
I think RedHat 8 uses gcc 3.2 and considering that 0.7.10 predates it,
it's not surprising that FG won't compile. Current cvs will compile
with g++ 3.2, however.
