That fixed the problem. I've got a running FGFS, now. Although, when I quit
the application, I got this:

The default C172 in FlightGear seems to be a bit overpowered. It climbs
nicely, and at level flight at about 1,000 feet, I settle out at 140 kts and
2800 rpm with full throttle. Does that seem high?
