Hi Saikrishna, Is there a top level link I can point people to from the main flightgear download page? I'm not personally familiar with launchpad or the 'ppa' acronym. I'd love to keep the entry on the flightgear page as concise as possible. Is there a particular distribution this applies to?

You can use https://launchpad.net/~saiarcot895/+archive/flightgear. There's a section on the page for users to easily add the PPA (basically the location of the packages) to their system. This applies to Ubuntu Oneiric (11.10), Ubuntu Precise (12.04), Ubuntu Quantal (12.10), and Ubuntu Raring
