I have read a report an bad doppler for MacOS then asked for some
information but got no reply.
If this problem still persists could the MacOS users try this patch?

Never mind this patch contains an error so I've put it in CVS. If it's
wrong please tell me and I'll remove
Hello Everyone,
I have been following the list discussion for the past few days and went
through the archives to
see to what extent and exactly what FG supports in regards to ATC
simulation.
To my understanding unless there were other posts which I missed FG only

Erik,
The sound on the MacOS does still have a glitch when changing views. If you
have a good patch to try I'd be more than happy to test it.
If you recall, its most typical in fly by or tower view, and if you adjust your
viewpoint in any direction the sound is corrected.
It will never happen

I need to playback a saved flight (via the generic playback protocol) as an
AI model. Given that, I have a few questions:
1. Has someone already done this?
2. Is there a way to do this easily? I thought of writing an
aiplayback.xml in the Protocols folder by modifying the properties of
Hi Erik,
This morning's cvs for simgear is now giving me a segfault:
Fatal error: Failed to load wav file: There was already an ALC error on
entry to an ALUT function
The reported wav file is different for each aircraft, but is always the
first sound played.

I see this file updated this morning:

With the latest repository version of fg and support the sound works for
me on 64bit iMac. Previously I had problems with fly-by view sound but
now the doppler effect in fly-by view now sounds reasonable. Nice work Erik.

Hi all and Martin,
Some freqs are not handled by X-Plane but are supported in FG. AFAIK
this is because we use a workaround to make VORs compatible with TACAN
on certain weird frequencies.
KLSV 012X is one of these. Last updates forgot this one we added to our
nav.dat long time ago. Robin
Well if you build from CVS you will find that CVS.data has also to be
updated as the version has changed to 2.
I have failed to spot any warning about this.
