I have local TOCs at the beginning of several chapters in a book. They
are inserted as text insets. For some reason, in one of the chapters the
TOC is not hyperlinked at all. All of the other ones are hyperlinked.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Is it a bug?

Are there cross-references in the misbehaving inset? Cross-references in
text insets may be updated correctly, but are not converted to PDF links.

Could you not fix your issue by putting all the text to be cross-referenced in
a separate file, then importing it wherever you want it? This would give you
single-sourcing, *and* preserve formatting.
I've tried this with a file containing character markup and a hypertext marker,

Shlomo Perets gave the solution for this. I did not have Create
Hypertext Links turned ON (in the Set Up Table of Contents dialog box)
when creating the TOC for the chapter.

Dear Framers:
My ToC, lists and indexes are all creating excellent clickable pdfs, but in
the native FM11 (fully updated) I cannot click on a generated list without
getting a long message accompanied by a loud bell. In short, the FM link
does not work. The book file is taking its time to generate

Hi Rob,
Can you explain in more detail what you do and what happens?
For me it's not clear what you mean with click on a generated
list. Do you click on a generated file in the book file? Or are your
generated files opened and you click on a paragraph?
