One of the first FM lifesavers I heard about in the early days was Bruce

Hi Peter and Tom
Why don’t you just use FrameMaker>File>Package? This creates a zip file that
you can unpack to a new destination and it adjusts the links automatically? It
also gives you a report listing which files are included and which files are
missing.
I use it to create archive backups
Hi All,
Late to the party here so give me time to catch up. But, I need to finish
raising money for the Ride for Roswell Cancer center ride in August. As
usual, riding the 100 mile route. If you donate to the ride, I will give you
ArchiveES or any other script from my store. Thank you very much!

Perhaps someone on the list knows if it still works with recent Windows and
FM releases, where to find it, etc.

Also remember that your backup files have the same graphic import information
and x-ref info as your master files, so if you move them to a different folder
and don't keep the same relative path all your links will be broken and if you
need to save yourself from a bad situation with the backup
According to Rick Quatro, no it can't. He did write a script that will
backup to a different folder, but you have to hardcode the new location in
the script.
You can find information about it and download the script from here:
