Ventsislav, Squid is simply growing beyond normal process size limits. The answer to your problem is easily found on squid-cache.org. See /sys/i386/conf/LINT especially: options MAXDSIZ=(256*1024*1024) options MAXSSIZ=(256*1024*1024) options DFLDSIZ=(256*1024*1024)
