Hi, I want to use freeradius with rlm_ldap modeule for authentication only, and mysql for accounting...I want to use netscape LDAPi need two answer, can i use netscape LDAP with freeradius authentication? ..secondly what is the solution for the below problem..??

I have freeRadius 0.4 on Linux-Mandrake 8.1 Radius seems to be running. When I run radtest with a username that exists in the /etc/raddb/users file it works if I specify a password. i.e. bob Password = bob but not if I try to use a real system user. i.e. bob Auth-Type = Unix

When running radiusd in debug mode I get the following errors after trying to authenticate user bob: auth: No Auth-Type configuration for the request, rejecting the user auth: Failed to validate the user. I'm not sure what this means. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The NAS with the problem accounting packets is sending it's requests to the *other* IP address on that machine. Run 'tcpdump' to verify this. I have been watching with tcpdump for a few days. Of course, since I'm watching, the problem hasn't happened very often. It does not show the

Hi all, I am running the freeradius 0.4 on rh 7.1. Is it possible to include the clients.conf file in the ldap db (radius + users authorization by ldap). The user authentication works without any prob. but I would like to also include the clients.cont info in the db. What do I need and how to
