Anyone know a good/easy way to extend airport networks (not extreme) by
using base stations as repeaters? I've heard that this is a standard
feature in airport extreme, but I have the older model. I'm trying to
extend my coverage to my whole house and my one graphite base station
is coming up

Have you tried resetting the PRAM? Resetting the Wallstreet itself? I
can't
imagine that you can't boot in 9. Have you been able before to boot
from the
same OS 9 install CD you're trying? Maybe something is corrupted in
your OS
9 partition, on your hard drive, so that might explain why it does
