 Hi,
Dan has released a patch for each game that unlocks them and makes them
full games. Before I post them I am planning on making a new setup and
installer for all of the games so that they will be the full version
 without requiring the patch files.

Re: [Audyssey] superdeakout

2008-04-05 Thread Charles Rivard
Super Deekout is free, now. So are Search Party and Chain Link. For each
game, there is a file that you download, then place into the folder created
when you install the demo for that game, then run the file, then erase the
file you just ran. The game will be a fully registered game. Hopefully,
this was not too confusing?

a
good game to point to would be top speed 2, since its a free racing game

a good one at that. Also technishock is a good choice - or shades of dume
always helps, I played the demmo but really haven't gottin around to

 I
can't wait to buy it. Its jam pakced with features and I really like the

Hello everyone. As some of you may be aware, I'm working on a guide for
blind people who own personal computers. One of the things this guide is
packed with are links to resources which showcase the kinds of
possibilities there are for blind people when it comes to personal
 leisure
and enrichment. I'd very much like to be able to point them to Dan
Zingaro's Superdeakout game. Before I do that, however, I need to know
where it's going to be hosted once Dan shuts down his site. Has anybody
contacted him yet to make such arrangements? Superdeakout as well as his
other games are certainly stellar free examples of good accessible games
and I'd hate to see them disappear.

Michael - This may be superfluous, but since I'm covering for John Bannick
while he is out of the country, I thought I'd make sure you are aware of
 us
relative newcomers to the accessible game business and include us in your
 guide.

We are committed to making our games accessible to everyone and to
encouraging other game developers to also make their games accessible.
 The
recent ALERT project is our efforts to let people know where they can find
out about accessible games, where to get them and how to use them to
 assist
 in learning and skill development.

If you haven't checked out our website recently, go to www.7128.com and
scroll down to the ALERT button. You might also want to download some of
our demo games to see what we are about.

If you have already included us, I apologize for mentioning it.

Ah, I thought I'd heard those games were converted to free games; but I have
a question. What would we do about the registering part? Or were the games
free to begin with? I heard some games, not sure which company, were
converted from being paid games to free games- but without recoding the
game, how would that work?

thanks

Hi,
Dan has released a patch for each game that unlocks them and makes them
full games. Before I post them I am planning on making a new setup and
installer for all of the games so that they will be the full version
without requiring the patch files.

good game to point to would be top speed 2, since its a free

a good one at that. Also technishock is a good choice - or
shades of dume
always helps, I played the demmo but really haven't gottin around

rocks, and I

Re: [Audyssey] superdeakout

2008-04-03 Thread Michael Feir
The guide will be free for everyone. I'm hoping people will get it to blind
newcommers who haven't managed to get online yet. It's my way of paying back
the debt I owe to the Internet community who have helped me over the years.
I wouldn't feel good charging money for it. Besides, until people have an
idea of what fun possibilities are out there, why would they pay for it?
Would you pay for the right to go on a ten hour walk to somewhere if you had
no idea where you were going and why you'd want to go? I certainly wouldn't.
That's precisely what people who haven't gone online are often asked to do
essentially. Computers are not seen as fun initially and that's what I feel
has to change.

are for blind people when it comes to personal leisure and enrichment. I'd
very much like to be able to point them to Dan Zingaro's Superdeakout game.
Before I do that, however, I need to know where it's going to be hosted once
Dan shuts down his site. Has anybody contacted him yet to make such
arrangements? Superdeakout as well as his other games are certainly stellar
free examples of good accessible games and I'd hate to see them disappear.

aah ok.

Just wandered.

Computers are not seen as fun initially and that's what I feel
has to change.

well I hope usagames hosts it.
If not and if you are interested in colaberating, I think we could have a
cd with the stuff on it or something, I guess this guide will be a paying
one so you could have the latest things from the various sites on cd and
or dvd when the guide was written.
I'd be happy to contribute things if you need em.

Hello everyone. As some of you may be aware, I'm working on a guide for
blind people who own personal computers. One of the things this guide is
packed with are links to resources which showcase the kinds of
possibilities there are for blind people when it comes to personal leisure
and enrichment. I'd very much like to be able to point them to Dan
